Before you start
A Copilot license
You need a Microsoft 365 Copilot license to ask Copilot about a meeting. Teams Premium also adds AI notes to the Recap tab.
A transcript
Someone needs to turn on transcription during the meeting. Without a transcript, Copilot can only use the meeting chat after the meeting ends.
Access to the meeting
You need to be invited and in the same organization. The organizer controls Copilot settings and who can see the transcript.

Another way: use Copilot Chat
Open Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat, type a forward slash (/) and pick the meeting from the list. Then ask: "Recap /[Meeting name]." This works well when you want to catch up on several meetings at once.
